The Word of God becomes more effective and easier to receive when the heart is right. The ground or center of the heart needs to be a heart of flesh and pure in motive in order to truly be able to not only receive the Word but to then practice it in our daily lives.

The Word has taken root and produced fruit in particular areas in my life while in other areas I know that God is still working on. One of the most recent examples I can testify about of how the Word has taken root and produced fruit that may abound is when I began to practice Matthew 6:33 which states “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

As the Lord pulled my heart to seek Him, I grew more and more hungry to be pure, be a keeper of my own heart, and not be self-deceived. After a certain time of consecration with the Lord, I received a phone call for a job interview in which was exactly the kind of job I had asked God for according to His will.

After being unemployed for about five months I had finally gotten hired. I realized that it was not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. The Lord does not want us to try to solve the problems on our own. The Lord wants us to seek Him and He will take care of all the rest. He is the owner of the silver and gold. No matter what may happen in this world, the great news is God never changes. We can stand on Him for He is our Rock and Redeemer.

Trust is the hardest thing I cultivate with the Lord and those around me. However, it has been the most rewarding. Since starting this new season with the Lord at the River Bible Institute I have seen and experienced the love and power of God in a deeper way. Our hearts have collided and my faith has been growing strongly. It’s as if God were physically sitting right next to me and at the same time a wave of His glory sweeping the place. I am learning to truly live an uncompromised lifestyle by renewing my mind with the word of God. That is the first thing he said to me when I got here. I am going to learn the pure meaning of living an uncompromised lifestyle with and in God. He is giving me a fresh outlook on life. This is a deeper time of discovery of who God is, who I am, whom I belong to, and how he truly flows in and through people who are surrendered, yielded, and obedient. Pride will never see heaven. Where my heart is there my treasure will be also. Trusting God and building a loving and caring relationship with him sets the foundation on which our ministry together will flourish and accomplish what he designed it to be and function how He intended. The end result is the salvation of millions of people, healing, deliverance, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.

I see God strong and mighty through these leaders that teach us the word of God everyday with passion seeping out of them. I watch and listen to them and I hear faith coming out of them like a roaring lion. It is amazing to see and be a part of. They are regular people like you and me and have paved the way for us. And I thank God for that and them. I love you all.

The message about the word being sown in your heart is powerful.  I can relate to this with the anointing destroying the yoke.  There have been a lot of yokes being destroyed in my life.  This month the lord has been dealing with me about temptations.  Flee from youthful lust.  There are some things you have to run from because they are going to cause you to sin.  Then, when you run from them don’t go back to try to see if you’re strong enough to handle it.  Run from it and don’t go back.  God will always provide a way of escape: 1 Corinthians 10:13.  Just because he provides a way of escape does not mean you need to just be looking for things that will tempt you.  We as Christians should avoid temptations as much as we can.   The Lord is so good, he’s a faithful God.   When the word is sown in your heart the enemy will try to steal that word from you.  You have to keep your heart right so that it can work properly.  Keep your heart right with God so the enemy can’t come and steal what’s been placed in you from His kingdom.  You don’t want to be the person who hears the word and when tribulation and persecution comes for the word he gets offended.  Do not take any offence in your heart.  When your heart is right, you can hear the word, understand it and bear fruit.   Then you will have a 60 to 100 fold harvest in your life.

Our job is to sow the word. There will be results, some will reject, some will accept and bear fruit. Our job is to spread the “GOOD NEWS”. People need to have an open heart to receive the word. We cannot convince them intellectually of the truth and the need for Jesus. Their hearts must be prepared and ready. God can take you, use you a good and honest heart. Be prepared and ready; open to hear the word of God. We need to let it speak to us. We do not want to be like the man in James who looks in the mirror and doesn’t recognize the things that need fixing. We need good soil, a good and honest heart that receives and retains the truth; seed will grow and new life will manifest. (John 17:17) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

We take the word and hide it in or hearts, it comes to life in us. We are quick to forgive offenses, and walk in the love of Christ. I ask myself who do I want to be, the answer is who does God want me to be? His will, not mine. I am an ambassador, a representative of God. I do not fear the enemy for He is under my feet; I go boldly and prosper wherever I am sent in His name. God is no respecter of persons. (Luke 10:19) He has given us power to trend on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. The Holy Spirit will sustain you. The Love of God, He will never leave you nor forsake you.

This has been one of the most powerful conferences in which I have ever participated. Speakers like the pastor from Turkey and Retired US Army General literally shocked (in a good meaning of this word) many in the audience. After the camp meeting, I had a chance to talk to several people and all of them had gotten “their eyes opened”. The messages of those two speakers were such a revelation about what`s going on on the global scene that it`s hard to overemphasize it. It is really a life changing message about finances and other matters in nowadays society. Even to me personally (though I knew lots of things there was spoken about) there were many points of bad surprise…especially those in the General`s message about how far America has been pushed towards socialism, which inevitably leads to  self destruction and how fast things are escalating. I would highly recommend to everybody get these messages and listen to them, for sure.  It wouldn`t be a waste of your time. It’s obvious for anyone to see that a lot of things in this world are wrong, but not many of us had an idea to what extent  it`s gone. In order to fight wickedness and evil we have to realize and see it. We can`t beat an unseen enemy, but when it is exposed we know how to pray and what to do. And as the cherry on top of all this week we had an amazing graduation ceremony for the River Bible Institute students.

This week is Minister’s and Leaders Conference! It has been a high honor to serve during these conferences. Great men and women of God come from all over the world to come together for these meetings! It’s very powerful to hear the testimonies of these mighty men and women, and how God has radically touched and transformed their lives. You don’t have to be a full time minister or in the five fold ministry to be a part of these meetings. You just have to be hungry and desperate for a move of God and a touch from heaven. Once you are touched by the fire of God, you will never be the same again.

At different stages of my life I have been the soil that is described in the parable. When I was young, I didn’t even know the word was being sown in my life and lived like as Pastor Rodney would say “Like a Heathen”.  At that time I was the roadside soil. As I got older I got into the rocky ground. I accepted the Word and wanted it to work for me but not being in the word as I should have been; when trouble came I fell away and went back to the way I was living before. I got married and started chasing money and success and got bills and mortgages and graduated to the thorny weeds soil. At each stage I was conscious of God and his will for me. I knew he wanted to see me do well. At each time I would start out with the best intentions and He being the gentleman He is, let me make my own choices. At that point, it led to my failure in business. I was full of pride.
